The flavour of fresh-milled, whole corn is delicious. This is a 12oz/341 g portion, which converts to 2.25 cups. Recommended: STORE IN THE FREEZER! Shelf-stable cornmeal has been processed to make it that way, with much of the germ, and thus, nutrition, removed. This is whole-milled cornmeal and should be stored in the freezer to preserve flavour and shelf-life. It won't need to be thawed--you can use it right upon pulling it out.
